The article How to Integrate a WordPress Blog Into Your Existing Website is fairly simple using the Classic template as a starting point. It works great, this site is using it.
That said, I am currently writing a new post using a more advanced method. It uses the Thematic theme and a customized child theme. The advantages being Thematic has a lot of great features and using a child theme leaves the base code in tact. Please stand by.
swolock,
Looking forward to this next post because I am looking to add a blog to my site. Any idea how long before you post?

Damian – Thanks for you interest. I’m still working on it, trying to work a fairly easy procedure. Thematic is a lot more complicated than Classic. FYI… this blog just uses the Classic theme which was easy and is more than adequate for me. I had a quick look at your site. Using your banner, footer and background should be a piece of cake.

Any chance you would like to tackle it for me. Coding is not a strong point of mine.
Let me know how much if you are interested.
